College students often struggle

This is my first year of college, I have been out of school for over twenty years a lot of things have changed. It has been a struggle each and everyday. I am a single mother of three beautiful children and one is under 3 years old. Balancing my time with school and with homework, cooking dinner, and making my appointments, and still spend quality time with my family, and still try to have a social life. I try to make the most out of time, and I keep focused a lot better. I also carry my book bag and laptop with me everywhere I go, so when I have a free moment, I work on my assignments . There are days and nights when I am so tired, but I have to meet those deadlines. I do get very frustrated at times and just feel like giving up, especially when its hard to keep up with my assignments. It does take a load off knowing I have a wonderful support system from my family, that helps me stay positive. There will be a very positive reward in the end just knowing I am not a quitter. 

Social media is detrimental

I do believe social media has a very big impact on our face to face interactions, with not only strangers, but family and friends as well. Social media has became one of the largest,  and fastest ways to communicate. When we engage in face to face contact with strangers, we attend to use very poor communication skills, verbal skills. Such as using southern slang instead of using proper English, poor facial expressions as in making eye contact, and the shaking of hands. I do believe social media has very bad negative effect on not only on adults but young adults as well. Social media effects not only there self confidence, but there self esteem too.  Statistics had proven there is severe depression, and anxiety over social media which could lead into losing all social interactions. 

What a best friend should be.

What a best friend should be. A true best friend are always  honest with you, no  matter what even if it hurts your feelings. I want my best friend to have christ like attitudes like being humble, having faith, and patience and showing kindness. They should also be respectful not only toward me but to others as well. My best friend should be very loyal and trustworthy, you should never have to second guess your best friend. My friend  should accept me for me no matter about the past, I should never have to worry about what they think about me, because they love me anyway. They should also be upbeat and positive to lift spirits. That is my view on what a best friend should be.

One of the best acts of kindness of a stranger, I had ever seen was a preacher and a few of his congregation come together, as a whole and open the church doors to the homeless when the weather proceeds to get really cold not only do they go around to the local parks, to pick up the homeless they also provide the homeless with warm cots, and warm meals, they also serve them the hot meals. He also serves them by washing their clothes giving them a warm jackets and extra clothes, personal items they may need. I also have witnessed him trying to help them obtain their id's and birth certificates, also helping them find good jobs for themselves. He not only minsters to them  but he shows them that GOD loves them. He shows them love, and kindness. He is very compassionate in his acts of kindness.

This is the most amazing acts of kindness I have ever seen in my life. The love that this man of GOD has not only for the homeless, but also for the people. This just shows how GOD loves his people.  

Frustrating part of writing

The most frustrating part of writing for me is the punctuation and the correct spelling. I like to to write about a wide variety of things that come to my mind. When it comes down to adding my punctuation and spelling, I feel like I lose all train of thought and seems so time consuming, and, I feel like people criticize my writing for not being correctly written. I really just like my writing to flow and use whatever first comes to mind. I can address the problems in these areas, head on by going ahead and correcting my mistakes as I make them in using proper spelling and proper punctuation when need to be. When someone criticize my writing, not to get offended but take some of their advice. The main thing that I am learning is to relax and lose control, and to make writing fun and exciting.

My baby sister Amanda, I hold her dear to me because she teaches me so many lessons in life. She is a living example of GODS love and mercy. Amanda at the age of two was a very sick child, she was always deathly sick and the doctors at the time didn't know what was wrong. Amanda, grew up with a illness that couldn't be cured and today she is a hundred percent disabled. Amanda has seven forms of arthritis and stills disease;she has both shoulders replaced and both hips as well. Doctors said she wouldn't live passed eleven years old and she would be confined to a wheelchair well not Amanda, she is thirty six years old and still walks and doctors say she would never have a child of her own, she has one of her own and two step children. Amanda, also attends college with me. I know my sister hurts each and everyday but she don't let her disease bring her down. Amanda also lives her life to the fullest each and everyday. That is why I hold my sister Amanda dear to me.
